Kenneth Dean, 74, of La Salle, passed away at 6:50 PM, Wednesday, April1st, in his home after an extended illness
Funeral Mass will be held in ST. VALENTINE'S CHURCH, Peru, at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 7th, with Msgr. Brian Reysek officiating.
Burial in St. Hyacinth Cemetery
Visitation will be Monday 5:00 - 8:00 PM in BURGESS FUNERAL HOME in LaSalle and Tuesday 9:00 - 10:00 AM in ST. VALENTINE'S CHURCH. .
Born on August 22, 1940 in Seatonville to Clyde and Malissa (McCawley) Dean
Married Arleen Wyszynski on December 27, 1965 in St. Hyacinth Church
Worked for Huntsman Chemical for 35 years
Member of St. Valentine Church, Spring Valley Boat Club, South Shore Boat Club, Peru Eagles, C.W. V., V.F.W., Tropic Bay Yacht Club and was inducted this year into the Illinois Valley River Boating Club
He served in the U.S. Air Force for 5 1/2 years and was discharged as a disabled vet
Flag folding ceremony will be performed by the LaSalle/Oglesby Veterans Group
