Obituary for David "Barney" Foote
David “Barney” Foote 59 of LaSalle died unexpectedly at 8 AM Saturday February 16 at his residence.
A funeral service will be Friday February 22 at 10:30 AM in the Burgess Funereal Home in LaSalle. Pastor Scott Fulkerson will officiate. Burial will follow in Troy Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday February 21 in the funeral home from 5 to 8 PM. Additional visitation will be Friday in the funeral home from 9:30 to the time of services.
Barney was born on October 31, 1959 in Peoples Hospital in Peru to Dale and Betty (Myszak) Foote.
For over 40 years he was a self-employed truck driver.
He always made time and had the highest regards for family and friends. Riding his motorcycle and snowmobiling was a true joy for him. Barn lived life to the fullest. He was always up for a good time. His favorite saying was “Who Noze”.
He is survived by:
1 Sister: Terry (Scott) Petzel of Peru.
2 Nieces: Tiffany Petzel (William Moore) of Ladd, and Rhiannon (Jared) Baker of Granville.
1 Nephew: Toby (Elyse) Petzel of Frisco TX.
3 Great Nieces: Addison, Maylia, and Brinkley
2 Great Nephews: Blake and Beckham
Special Friend: Emily King
He is preceded in death by: his Dad (2006), Mom (1993) Paternal and Maternal Grandparents.
