Obituary for Dianne Frederick

Dianne Frederick 76 of LaSalle, passed away peacefully with her family at her side, in her residence on April 14. A funeral mass will be Wednesday April 19th at 11 at St. Hyacinth Church in LaSalle. Very Reverend Tom Otto, Pastor of LaSalle Catholic Parishes will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Hyacinth Cemetery. Visitation will be in the church on Wednesday from 9 until the time of services. The Burgess Funeral Home in LaSalle is handling the arrangements.

She was born in St. Mary’s Hospital in LaSalle on September 28, 1946 to John and Mary (Jakubczak) Smudzinski.

She married the love of her life; Ronald Frederick on February 6, 1969 in Ottawa, IL. They renewed their vows on January 5, 1985 at St. Valentine Church in Peru.

She was employed at D&D Store in LaSalle. For 30 years she was employed by K-Mart in Peru in the sporting goods as an Assistant Manager.

She was member of St. Hyacinth Church. She belonged to the Catholic Daughters of America. She volunteered her time as an instructor of CCD for St. Hyacinth.

Throughout the years, she enjoyed traveling through out country, with the love of her life in their motor home. Shopping was one of her relaxing activities to do along with gambling. She cherish spending time with family and friends and with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by: her husband of fifty four years.

Three daughters: Angie (Jeff) Giuliani of LaSalle, Christine (Kevin) Risatti of Buda, and Johnelle (Tony) Piccinelli of Standard.

Nine grandchildren, and Sixteen great grandchildren.

Several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by: her parents, three brothers, Son -In- Law, and a great grandson at infancy.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family for her charities.
