Obituary for Roger Frederick
Roger Frederick, 82, of La Salle passed away peacefully on July 21st at St. Margaret’s Hospital in Spring Valley.
Per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded, and there will be no services. The Burgess Funeral Home in La Salle is assisting the family.
Roger was born on September 4, 1939 in Cedar Point Illinois to Theodore and Ester (Miller) Frederick.
He married Kathy Roach on September 19, 1970 Tawas Michigan.
Roger was employed by Sundstrand for over thirty years until his retirement as a transfer mechanic.
He was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in La Salle, and enjoyed outdoor activities including fishing in the summer, and snowmobiling in the winter.
Cheering on the Chicago Bears as an avid fan of theirs, he looked forward to the start of the football season each year.
He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
He survived by; his loving wife (Kathy) of Fifty-One years.
Three Sons: Robert (Jeri) Frederick of Minonk, IL., Roger Jr. (Lisa) Frederick of La Salle,
and Jim (Amy) Frederick of La Salle.
One Daughter: Regina Modro of Minonk, IL.
Five Grandchildren: Tony, Skyler, Jessica, Kelsey, and Jacob.
One Brother: Ron (Dianne) Frederick of La Salle.
Several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by: his parents, and two sisters.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children.
