Obituary for Rhonda Lee Lishewski
Rhonda Lee (Lenac) Lishewski 70 of La Salle passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on June 8 at OSF Healthcare in Peoria.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial visitation will be held in St. Hyacinth Church on June 17th starting at 9am. A memorial mass will follow the visitation at 11am. Reverend Thomas Otto pastor of LaSalle Catholic Parishes will officiate. The Burgess Funeral Home in LaSalle is handling the arrangements
Rhonda was born in Ottawa on November 20, 1951 to Stanley and Eileen (McKinney) Lenac.
She married Charles “Charlie” Lishewski at St. Patrick’s Church in Ottawa on October 28, 1972.
She was employed as a Pharmacy Technician for many years. She was a member of St. Hyacinth Church. She was a fan of all sports, loved cooking, gardening, planting flowers, watching TV and fishing trips with family and friends.

Her greatest passion was being a wife, a mother, grandmother, and a friend to many. She touched so many lives and we are all better for having known her.

Her love of life and her laughter was intoxicating. She demonstrated each day to never let her illness stop her from the things she loved to do. She was a true inspiration to us all.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years,
3 Children: Tom Patrick (Anan) Walsh of Arizona, Janel (Rich) Rhein of Wisconsin, and Kendra Lishewski of Ottawa.
8 Grandchildren: Sophie (Kyle) Nuetzman, Kyle, Hunter, Aspyn and Cody Rhein, Charlotte and Penelope Ceja, and Knox Lishewski.
3 Great Grandchildren: Jack, Lorelai, and Penelope Nuetzman
She is preceded in death by: her parents, 1 brother; Pete Frecchio, and 1 sister; Sandra Bankert.
Honorary Pallbearers are: Kyle and Hunter Rhein, Gary Windy, Roger Sines, Dale Kalman, and Dick Martuzzo.
