Obituary for Susan J. Egan
Susan J. Egan 69 of Peru passed away in her residence on December 25 at 3:30AM. Per her wish cremation rites have been accorded. There will be a Celebration of Life for family and friends at a later date. The Burgess Funeral Home in LaSalle is assisting the family.
Sue was born on August 23, 1952 at St. Mary’s Hospital in LaSalle to Harry and Rita (Scholle) Egan.
For many years she was employed throughout the Illinois Valley working in retail.
She enjoyed sitting on her porch for hours with a Coca Cola and with either Macy or Marnie her four-legged friends. She had a passion for doing art work, mostly stain glass. She found making jewelry very relaxing. She always cherished her time with family and friends.
She is survived by:
1 Daughter: Shayna M. Egan of Seattle WA.
Mother: Rita L. Egan formally of LaSalle, now living in Milwaukee, WI.
Her Siblings: Mary Rita Egan of Tuscan, AZ., Edward J. (Anne) Egan of Shorewood, IL., Jean (Tom) Hebeisen of Grayslake, IL., Rose Mary Egan (Mary Geoghan) of Milwaukee, WI., Joseph (Teresa) Egan of Dallas TX.
Many Nieces, Nephews, and friends.
She is preceded in death by:
her dad; Harry (2003) and a Nephew Michael Egan.
