Obituary for William "Gus" Goskusky
William James “Gus” Goskusky, 55, of Utica passed away in his residence with his family at his side on Jan. 3rd, 2020, at 9:47 A.M.
A ‘Celebration of Life’ service will be held on Saturday, January 11th at 12:00 (noon) at Senica’s Oak Ridge Golf Course in LaSalle. Pastor Kevin Hancock of Crossbridge Community Church of the Nazarene will officiate. Visitation will immediately follow the service until 3:00 P.M.
He was born on December 27, 1964 in Spring Valley tot John and Katheryne (Jennings) Goskusky.
He attended LP High School and IVCC.
He married Kelly Waters on May 6, 1989 in Utica, IL.
He was employed and retired from Western Sand and Gravel after 28 years as a redi-mix driver. He recently worked for the LaSalle Elementary Schools as a Custodian for the past six years.
He is survived by his wife Kelly,
his three children, Neil (Loran) Goskusky, Jorie (Michael) Swingel, Grant Goskusky,
and his one grandson, Beau Swingel.
2 sisters: Mary (Tim) Shinnick and Tara Goskusky (Sam Levin).
2 brothers: Bob (Vicki) Goskusky and Tom (Karla) Goskusky.
9 nieces, 13 nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by both his parents.
The Burgess Funeral Home in LaSalle is handling the arrangements.
