Steve Pearson, 64 of Peru passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on December 28th. Per his wishes cremation rites have been accorded, and private family services.
Steve was born on September 20, 1961 in Peru to Stanley and Rita (Harczynski) Pearson.
He married Lisa Nicholson on May 24, 1986.
He graduated LaSalle Peru High School class of 79. He retired from Maze Nails in Peru in June of 2025 after forty years of service. He was a member of the United Steelworkers # 4268-2 and the Knights of Columbus in LaSalle.
Steve always had a story to tell to make people laugh. He always had an opinion on everything. He had a heart of gold and loved his family unconditionally. His happiest times were spent with his daughter, coaching her and following her in her sports journeys. He was always teaching her “life lessons”. He will be sadly missed.
He is survived by his wife Lisa of thirty-nine years, his daughter; Ashley of Medford, MA. His mother Rita of Peru. Sisters; Lynn (Arnie) Davis of Dalzell, Luanne (Marty) Conrad of Peru. Several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by; his father; Stanley W. Pearson, and one brother Stanley J. Pearson.
