Mr. Stanley F Jasiek, 95, of Peru, passed away at 3:19 PM, Wednesday, May 1st, 2013 at IL. VETERANS HOME Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 3rd at 11:00 AM in St. Valentine's Church in Peru with Rev. William Gardner officiating Burial in St. Hyacinth Cemetery Visitation will be on Friday, in St. Valentine Church from 10:00AM - 11:00AM Born in Peru on August 3, 1917, to Frank and Agnes (Kujawa) Jasiek. He served in the U.S. Navy in WW II. Married Romana Wardynski on January 6, 1940 in St. Valentine's Church Worked at Westclox for many years, he also worked as an electrician in the civil service at several US Air Force bases in California and Illinois. He was a dedicated St. Louis Cardinal fan. Member of St. Valentine's Church and was a resident at Illinois Veteran's Home in LaSalle Survivors: 3 Grandchildren Jeff (Bonnie) Jasiek of Oglesby Jerry (Tammy) Jasiek of St. Louis Judy (Phil) Searle of Peoria 3 Great Grandchildren Dane, Nathan and Alex Jasiek Daughter In-Law Joyce (Dick) Koontz of LaSalle 1 Great Great Grandson Kale Jasiek 1 Step Great Great Grandaughter Andrea Brandner Nieces and Nephews and Cousins Preceded in death by Parents, Wife Romana in 2008, 1 Son James in 1974, 1 Brother and 1 Sister Full Military services will be conducted by LaSalle-Oglesby Veterans Group Burgess Funeral Home in LaSalle in charge of arrangements Online condolences may be viewed and expressed at www.burgessfh.com
