Robert Pezanoski, 82, of Peru, IL., passed away at 9:56 PM, Wednesday, October 30th, 2013 at OSF - ST. FRANCIS MEDICAL CENTER, , IL.. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 4th, in St. Mary's Church in Utica with Monsignor James Swaner officiating. Burial will be at a later date Visitation on Sunday 4:00 - 7:00 PM in Burgess Funeral Home in Utica and Monday 10:00 - 11:00AM in ST. MARY'S CHURCH. . Born in LaSalle, on January 7, 1931, to Anton and Anne (Skowera) Pezanoski. He served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War. Member of Knights of Columbus, Peru VFW Post 8232, Redcoat at IVCH, Trustee at St. Mary's Church, Peru American Legion Post 375, and Peru Veterans Memorial Group Married Catherine Naughton on May 3, 1958 in St. Columba in Ottawa He farmed and worked at Universal Contracting until his retirement. After his retirement, he worked at Pioneer Seed Survivors Wife Catherine of Peru 1 Daughter, Trisha (Jay) Bottarini of Ottawa. 3 Sons Chuck (Roberta) Pezanoski of Peru., Bill Pezanoski of LaSalle., Terry (Michelle) Pezanoski of Utica. 12 Grandchildren Keith, Ty, Brad, Brent, Brandon, Brock and Reed Pezanoski and Jill, Joel, Julie, Jacob and Jobe Bottarini 2 Sisters, Betty (Dick) Repsel of LaSalle., Carole (Brad) James of Hinckley. 1 Brother, Eugene Pezanoski of Arizona.
