Mr. Robert H 'Ginger' Gredzieleski, 80, of La Salle, IL., passed away at 2:43 PM, Thursday, August 30th, 2012 following a courageous battle with cancer Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 4th, in St. Hyacinth Church with Rev. Antonio Dittmer officiating Burial will be at a later date in St. Hyacinth Cemetery Visitation will be on Monday September 3, from 5:00 - 8:00 PM in Burgess Funeral Home LaSalle with a scripture service at 7:30 PM and Tuesday 9:00 - 10:00 AM in ST. HYACINTH'S CHURCH. . Born in LaSalle, on May 21, 1932, to Frank and Pearl ( Wisniewski) Gredzieleski. He served in the U.S. Army as a Pvt 1st Class in the Korean War. Married Barbara Patyk on April 15, 1961 in St. Hyacinth Church in LaSalle Retired Post Master for LaSalle Post Office where he worked for over 30 years Member of St. Hyacinth Church, VFW, CWV. and St. Hyacinth Athetic Assoc. Survivors: Wife Barbara of LaSalle 1 Daughter, Lynne (James) Sullivan of Chicago IL. 3 Sons Lane (Bernadette) Gredzieleski of St. Charles IL. Chris Gredzieleski of Bourbonnais IL. Robert Gredzieleski of Peru IL. 5 Grandchildren Robert, Casey, William, Megan and Taylor Preceded in death by Parents, 1 Brother, and 3 Sisters Memorials may be directed to the family for his favorite charities
