Obituary for Richard Rosploch
Richard Rosploch 78 of La Salle passed away Tuesday January 31 at 12:59PM in Heritage Manor in Peru. A funeral mass will be Monday February 6 at 11 in St. Hyacinth Church in La Salle. Abbot Phillip Davey OSB of St. Bede will officiate. Burial will be at a later date. A flag folding ceremony will be conducted by the LaSalle/Oglesby Veterans Memorial group following the mass. Visitation will be in the church Monday from 9 until the time of services. The Burgess Funeral Home in La Salle is handling the arrangements.
He was born August10, 1938 in St. Mary’s Hospital in La Salle to Zenon and Caroline (Stachowicz) Rosploch.
He married Sharon Sharp in St. Patrick’s Church in La Salle on August 20, 1966
He served in the U.S. Army from 1965 to 1967.
He chose the profession of being a pipefitter and worked out of Union 597 for many of years.
He was a member of St. Hyacinth Church; belong to the Pipefitters Union Local 597, and the Knights of Columbus Lodge 792.
His family was his number 1 priority. His granddaughters sparked his day by just being together with them or attending events.
He is survived by;

1 Son; Michael (Maria) Rosploch of La Salle
1 daughter; Lisa (Michael) Lau of La Salle
2 granddaughters Brianna Lau and Mya Rosploch
2 sisters; Kathleen Tomsha of Peru, Carole (Wayne) Pothoff of Peru
He is preceded in death by;
His parents and 1 granddaughter Lily Rosploch
