Richard “Rick” Jordan 66 of LaSalle passed away unexpectedly Wednesday July 21 at 8:05 PM at St. Margaret’s Health Peru in the Emergency Room shortly after arrival. Visitation will be Wednesday July 28 from 4 to 6 in the Burgess Funeral Home in LaSalle. A Scripture service will be at 6pm. Reverend Paul Carlson Pastor of Holy Family Church in Oglesby will officiate. Burial will be at a later date.
He was born in LaSalle on July 17, 1955 to Maximillion and Madeline (Ganze) Jordan.
He married Gale Wawrzyniak on September 28, 1979 in St. Patrick Church in LaSalle.
He was employed at Motor Wheel in Mendota for 21 years. He later was a union painter out of Ottawa for over 20 years.
His family and friends brought him great joy and happiness when together. Playing a game of bags and playing his guitar was his relaxation. He took every opportunity to go fishing.
He is survived by: his wife,
1 Son: Matthew (Dana Cook) Jordan of LaSalle.
1 Daughter: Kelly (Eric Vasquez) Jordan of LaSalle.
5 Grandchildren: Carter, Preston, Madison, Cason, and Callan.
1 Sister: Linda (John) Kunkel of Aurora.
Many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by: his parents and 1 Son: (Cory 2018).
