Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 19th at 9:30 AM in St. Hyacinth Church with Rev. Paul Carlson officiating
Burial in St. Vincent’s Cemetery and Full Military rites will be conducted by the LaSalle/Oglesby Veterans Memorial Group
Visitation wil be on Friday, January 18th from 4:00 - 7:00 PM in Burgess Funeral Home in LaSalle with a rosary being recited at 6:30 PM and additional visitation on Saturday 8:30 - 9:30 AM in the Church
Ray was born in LaSalle on March 3, 1931 to Joseph and Agnes (Wylepski) Swietek
Served in the US Navy as an electrician
Ray worked for Bakelite doing maintenance for over 30 years
Married Helen Pohar on September 27, 1952 in St. Roch’s Church in LaSalle
Ray was a former member of Resurrection Church and now member of St. Hyacinth Church, Holy Name Society, Usher for many years, and coached Little League for many years
