Obituary for Raymond Kotowski
Raymond C. Kotowski 83 of LaSalle passed away Sunday January 17 at 7:20AM in IVCH in Peru. A memorial mass will be Saturday January 23 at 10:30 in St. Hyacinth Church in LaSalle. The Very Reverend Antonio Dittmer Pastor of LaSalle Catholic Parishes will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Hyacinth Cemetery. Full Military rites will be conducted by the LaSalle / Oglesby Memorial Group. A memorial visitation will be in the Church from 9:30 until the time of Services. The Burgess Funeral Home in LaSalle is handling the arrangements.
He was born on September 10, 1932 in Peru to Raymond and Lillian (Tomaszewski)
He served in the Marines 3rd Battalion, 5th Regiment, 1st Division during the Korean War.
He married Maryann Kmieciak on October 6, 1956, in St. Hyacinth Church in LaSalle and celebrated 59+ wonderful years together.
He worked for the United States Postal Service for over 30 years.
He was a member of St. Hyacinth Church.
He is survived by his daughter, Karen Kotowski of Carrabelle, FL; his son, Michael Kotowski of Summit, NJ; and 1 grandson, Khory Kotowski of Summit, NJ
He is preceded in death by his wife (Dec. 29, 2015)
