Obituary for Peggy Hughes
Peggy Ann Hughes 57 of Peru passed away in her residence on Tuesday January 31 at 8:39AM with her family by her side. Cremation rites have been accorded. A private service and burial will take place at a later date. The Burgess Funeral Home in La Salle is handling the arrangements.
Peggy was born on November 6, 1959 at St. Mary’s Hospital in La Salle to Francis Swierkosz and Rita Faerber.
She was employed by Napa in Aurora.
Peggy lived in Aurora for many years. She was a big lover of animals especially her two cats Bully and Mackanna. She was an avid Green bay Packer’s fan. Her friendships throughout the years were treasures to her, especially to Jackie Bruski, Barb and Susie. In her most recent time through her illness she enjoyed the company of Tamara and the St. Margaret’s Staff along with her hospice nurse Mary.
She is survived by her mother Rita
1 brother Alan (Karen Russell) Swierkosz of Wheaton Il
1sister Lori Lock of Cherry and 1 niece Shealey Lock.
She is preceded in death by her father, Maternal and Paternal grandparents, and 1 niece (Ashley Rae Lock.
