Obituary for Pearl M. Giacobazzi
Pearl M. Giacobazzi 89 of Peru passed away peacefully on October 15th at Allure Health Care in Peru. Per her wishes cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial mass will be celebrated Monday October 23 at St. Joseph Church in Peru at 10AM. Father Gary Blake, Pastor of Peru Catholic Parishes will officiate. Burial will follow at Peru City Cemetery. A memorial visitation will be in the church from 9AM until the time of services. The Burgess Funeral Homes in LaSalle is handling the arrangements.
Pearl was born on March 14, 1934 at St. Mary’s Hospital in LaSalle to George and Marie (Wyciskala) Kolowski.
She married the love of her life, Louis Giacobazzi on May 2, 1964 at St. Hyacinth Church in LaSalle.
She was employed by Westclox in Peru as a line worker. She then took on the job she cherished the most, taking care of her family and being a homemaker.
She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church. She loved being around family, friends and especially her grandchildren that brought her great joy.
She is survived by:
Two Sons; Richard Giacobazzi of Peru, and Paul (Kathy) Giacobazzi of Peru.
One Sister: Georgia Splittstoesser of Peru.
Three Grandsons: Dominic, Mario, and Angelo Giacobazzi.
One Sister in Law: Lorraine Kolowski of Oglesby.
Nieces and Nephews.
She is preceded in death by: her husband of fifty one years (Louis 2015), Two Brothers: Robert and Richard Kolowski. One Granddaughter: Gina
