Obituary for Patrick Brendan Corrigan
Patrick Brendan Corrigan, 52, of Peru, passed away unexpectedly October 21, 2024. Per his request, cremation rites have been accorded.
An Irish Wake/Celebration of Life for Brendan will be held from 4-6:30 p.m., November 22, 2024 at Table Grace at Skoog’s Pub, 155 Mill Street, Utica, IL.
Patrick Brendan was born August 10, 1972 to Patrick and Patricia (Hauptman) Corrigan of Utica.
He served his country in the Navy branch of the Armed Services.
His profound passion was for cooking, which led him to work at several places throughout the Illinois Valley over the years.
He was a devoted, knowledgeable sports fan, cheering on the Chicago White Sox in the spring and summer, and in the fall and winter months it was Notre Dame and the Dallas Cowboys. Besides watching sports, he was an avid collector of baseball cards. He cherished spending time with friends and family. Throughout his life, he enjoyed eating great food, golf, bicycling, music, taking long drives and reading.
He is survived by two sisters: Maripat (Thomas) Olson of East Dundee, IL, Jami Valenzuela of Ottawa; and one brother: Sean (Lori) Corrigan of LaSalle, as well as dear nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents Patrick (1993) and Patricia (2015) and grandparents.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the family.
