Patricia “Hanson” Corless 45 of Oglesby passed away Saturday Feb 14 at 9:12PM in St. Margaret’s Hospital in Spring Valley surrounded by her loving family. A Funeral Mass is set for Friday Feb 20 at 10 in St. Mary’s Church in Utica. Monsignor James Swaner will officiate. Burial will be in Granville Cemetery. Visitation is set for Thursday Feb19 from 4 to 8 in St. Mary’s Church in Utica. A rosary will be recited at 7:30. Additional visitation will be in the Church from 9 to until the time of services. The Burgess Funeral Home of Utica is handling the arrangements.
She was born on November 8, 1969 in La Salle to Glenn and Sheila (Lanter) Hanson.
She attended St. Bede Academy and graduated from LaSalle –Peru High School in 1987
She married Gordon “Gordy” Corless in St. Mary’s Church in Utica on July 8, 1995
She was employed by Best Impressions in customer service and worked at the Grand Bear Lodge Enchanted Forest in Utica.
She belonged to St. Mary’s Church in Utica, a member of the Starved Rock chapter of Ducks Unlimited, She enjoyed cooking and fishing. Her favorite entertainment was her 2 dogs Liberty Belle and Bruin
She is survived by; her husband and parents of Oglesby
1 son: James Hanson of Springfield, IL
3 sisters: Cynthia (Rod) Erich of California, Brenda (Jerry) Pack of Virginia, and Pamela (Jim) Giordano of Peru
2 brothers: Michael Hanson of Michigan, and Duane (Leticia) Hanson of Texas
10 nieces and nephews, 6 great nieces and nephews, and 2 Aunts
Preceded in death by: Paternal and Maternal grandparents
