Obituary for Norma Schwamberger
Norma Schwamberger 80 of La Salle passed away peacefully with family and her caretaker at her side on August 1st at home. A celebration of her life service will be Friday August 5th at 11 in the Burgess Funeral Home in La Salle. Burial will follow at St. Vincent Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday in the funeral home from 9:30 until the time of services.
Norma was born on January 22, 1942 at St. Mary’s Hospital in La Salle to Glen and Gladys (SeeLye) Ritter.
She married the love of her life and best friend, Leo Schwamberger on May 9, 1964 at St. Patrick Church in La Salle.
She was employed as a legal secretary for many years.
She was a member of the Oglesby Union Church. She was a member of the La Salle and Bureau County Genealogy Guild. She was a member of Putnam County Historian Society. She loved spending time with friends and family.
She is survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Her care taker in which became a special friend Zirka.
She is preceded by: her parents, husband (Leo) 2006.
Pallbearers will be: Michael and Jason Urbanski, Gary, Jon, and Mark Yaklich, Mike, Nick, and Billy Pyszka.
