Monte Ricci 93 of Utica passed away April 28 at 5:34PM at St. Margaret’s Care in Peru.
A graveside service will be Tuesday May 4th at 11 AM at Oak Hill Cemetery in Utica.
Pastor Lloyd Johnson of the Utica Baptist Church in Utica will officiate.
The Burgess Funeral Home in Utica is handling the arrangements.
He was born on March 18, 1928 in LaSalle to Frank and Josephine (Hack) Ricci.
He married Lura Votaw on July 31, 1948 in Arkansas.
He was a member of the Utica Baptist Church.
He was employed by Alpha Portland Cement Company for several years.
Later he was the Head of Maintenance Ottawa Care Center.
He is survived by:
3 Sons: Daniel (Collen) Ricci of Texas, Louis (Jackie) Ricci of Kyle Texas, Monte (Theresa) Ricci III of Sandwich IL.
6 Daughters: Nancy (the late Jerry) Shan of LaSalle, Sheila (Reggie) Robinson of Little Rock Arkansas, Cindy (Clayton) Reddick Centerton Arkansas, Ellen Ricci of East Dundee IL, Lura Ellerbrock or Utica, Julie (Dave) Mateika of Oglesby.
Many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by:
his wife of 71 years
1 infant son,
2 Brothers
3 Sisters
