Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, December 29th in St. Mary's Church in Utica
with Msgr. James Swaner officiating
Burial in St. Vincent's Cemetery
Visitation on Sunday, December 28th from 4:00 - 7:00 PM in Burgess Funeral Home in LaSalle
And Monday from 9:00 - 10:00 AM in St. Mary's Church
The Rosary will be recited at 6:15 PM in the Funeral Home
Born on September 27, 1914 in LaSalle to Anton and Katherine (Applebee) Cherry
Married Lincoln Carter on April 23, 1932, in Tiskilwa
Was a Sr. Aide in OB department at St. Mary's Hospital in LaSalle for many years
Former Member of Resurrection Church and Altar and Rosary Society, Slovenian Women's Union Branch #34 in LaSalle for 53 years, AARP #2842
Minnie's positive attitude about life was reflected into anyone who met her. She always said, "If you look hard enough you will see the good in everyone" Her 100 years of life has blessed so many.
She enjoyed baking chocolate chip cookies and animal cracker cookies. Minnie loved to pull weeds in the garden. Her door was always open and she loved company. You always left with either a piece of candy, a can of soda, ice cream or cookies.
