Obituary for Michele Waters
Michele Waters 57 of La Salle passed away unexpectedly on Saturday September 3 at her residence. Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial mass will be Tuesday September 13, at 11in St. Hyacinth Church in La Salle. Reverend Tom Otto Pastor of La Salle Catholic Parishes will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Hyacinth Cemetery. A memorial visitation will be in the church on Tuesday from 9 until the time of services. The Burgess Funeral Home in La Salle is handling the arrangements.
She was born on January 18, 1965 at St. Mary’s Hospital in La Salle to Robert F. and Shirley (Jaraczewski) Bernard.
She married her best friend and the love of her life, Robert “Bobby” Waters on October 10, 1987 at Resurrection Church in La Salle.
She continued her education and ascertain her Certified Nursing Assistant License. She worked as a CNA throughout the Illinois Valley.
She was a member of St. Hyacinth Church. She was an Educator in the parish’s CCD Program for many years, working alongside her mom. She always loved being with family and friends. She had a passion in doing a variety of arts and crafts. She enjoyed fishing, going to concerts.
She is survived by her son: Zachary Waters of Fairfield CA.
A brother: Bob (Bobette) Bernard of Dimmick.
A sister: Penny (Dale) Steele of Dimmick.
A niece and nephew.
She is preceded in death by: her husband (2022), Her dad; Robert F. (2016), her mom; Shirley (2022), and her paternal and maternal grandparents.
