Mike was born on January 31st, 1968 in Springfield, IL and he was soon adopted by Chester and Deana (Dicke) Wysocki of Peru, IL. He was raised in Peru, IL along with his older also-adopted sister Theresa (Terri). Mike graduated from La Salle-Peru High School in 1986 and went on to work at various local jobs for several years. He eventually moved to the Chicagoland area and spent the rest of his adult life living and working in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs as a copier and printer Service Technician at Ikon, Ricoh, and most recently, Gordon Flesch companies. He was a beloved mentor to many coworkers over the years and he was always the first to jump in and help anyone who needed it. His proficiency at his job was admired by colleagues and gave him great personal satisfaction.
Mike was a loving father to his two sons and enjoyed watching Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears games with them. Being a father was his greatest joy in life. Mike had a gentle, patient, kind, humble and fun-loving nature, and he deeply touched many lives. Mike was loved, and will be greatly missed, by so many. May he rest in peace.
Mike was preceded in death by his adoptive parents and many aunts and uncles. He is survived by his two sons Lucas James of Columbia, Missouri, and Shane Michael of Blythewood, South Carolina; and his sister Theresa Osenkarski of Ada, Michigan.
