Obituary for Mary Wren
Mary Wren 60 of LaSalle passed away peacefully March 19 at 2:50 AM at OSF St. Francis in Peoria. A funeral service will Thursday March 25 at 7:00PM at the Burgess Funeral Home in LaSalle. Fr. Small of Peru Catholic Parishes will officiate. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be Thursday in the funeral home from 5 until the time of services. (mask will be required).
She was born on April 17, 1960 in Kanas City Missouri to David and Rheta (Julian) Campbell.
She married Martin “Marty” Wren on June 9, 1984 at the former St Rochs / Resurrection Church in LaSalle.
She was in the nursing field for several years working in hospitals, nursing homes and home health. She served in an administration role at the Lutheran Home in Mendota.
She was a past member of the former St. Rochs / Resurrection Church. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She never turned down an opportunity to play bingo. Doing an assortment of crafts of either creating or painting gave her great pleasure.
She is survived by: Her husband
1 Son: Cody of LaSalle.
1 Brother: David Campbell of Marion Illinois.
4 Sisters: Julie (Brook) Beale of East Peoria, Rebecca (Scott) Galbraith of Colorado Springs Colorado, Kathryn Campbell of Spring Valley, and Melissa (Aaron) Campbell of Johnson City Illinois.
Several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and 1 brother at infancy.
