Born on August 20, 1926 in LaSalle to John and Anna (Schalla) Pierski
He served in the U.S. Army as a Sargeant in the Korean War earning a Korean Service Medal,United Nations Medal, and Three Bronze Stars.
Member of St. Hyacinth Church and CWV Post 1229
A graduate of LPHS and was employed by Al's Market during his high school years. He worked as office manager for Broscheid Coal and Cartridge for five years before being called to service.
Retired at the age of 62 in 1988 from the Englewood Electric Supply after 22 years and the former name of Company LaSalle Electric Supply for eleven years.

Preceded in death by Parents, 2 Sisters Elizabeth Grenda and Emily Pierski, 2 Brothers Al and Clarence Pierski, 2 Sister-In-Laws and 1 Brother-In-Law, and by a Sister and Brother in infancy
