Marion "Fritz" Glupczynski, 84, of Utica, passed away Wednesday, July 15th, in Rockford Memorial Hospital

Born on November 6, 1930 in LaSalle to Marion and Alice(Trestrail) Glupczynski
Married Berniece Foltynewicz on January 27, 1950 in LaSalle, they were married for 65 years
Member of Holy Family Church in Oglesby, VFW, CWV, Woodcrafters Unlimited, Blood Sweat and Gears Car Club, Fish and Fun, Starved Rock Radio Club WD9ARO, and was an EMT for Peru Volunteer Ambulance Service
Worked for M & H Zinc Co. in LaSalle, Owned Glupczynski TV Sales and Service, worked at the LaSalle Post Office, Managed Klaus Radio for 27 years, and retired from the LaSalle County Housing Authority. In his retirement he drove for Green River Bus Line and Starved Rock Bus Line and also Enterprise Car Rentals
He served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War.

Granddaughters: Lorelle (Jeff) Edgcomb of Granville, Lyric Glupczynski of Peru, and Stephanie Znaniecki of Vero Beach
Great Grandchildren: Kaitlyn and Kyle Edgcomb of Granville, Rylynd and Reid Rynkewicz of Peru, Kennedy Glupczynski of Oglesby and Lexi Glupczynski
Preceded in death by Parents, 1 Son Michael, 2 Sisters Patricia Harloff and Betty Schrader and 1 Brother William in infancy
Burgess Funeral Home in LaSalle in charge of arrangements
Flag folding ceremony will be conducted by the LaSalle/Oglesby Memorial Group at the cemetery
