Marilyn C. Valesano 65 of Ottawa passed away Monday Evening at 10:59PM in her daughter’s home in LaSalle. Cremation Rites have been accorded. A memorial visitation will be Saturday Morning November 2 in the Burgess Funeral Home in LaSalle from 11 to 1. The Burgess Funeral Home in LaSalle is handling the arrangements. She was born on Aug 7, 1948 in LaSalle to Russell and Lucille (Banks) Walker. She married James Valesano in June of 1993 in St.Roch’s Catholic Church in LaSalle. She worked for The Daily Times in Ottawa, and a housewife. She was a member of the Oglesby Elks, American Legion in Ottawa, The Ottawa Elks, and a loyal bingo player throughout the Illinois Valley Area for many of years. She is survived by; her husband, 1 daughter Sheila Humpage of LaSalle, 1 brother Mark (Cathy) Walker of LaSalle, 2 sisters Shirley (Dennis) Junker of Wenona, Theresa (Rick) Carlson of Peru, several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by; her parents, 1 son Lamont Baker 2009, 1 brother Russell (Sarge) Walker 2001, and a son-in-law Jack Humpage 2013.
