Lura Ricci 87 of Utica passed away May 5 at 8:48AM in Ottawa Pavilion. A private graveside
service will take place with the family. Pastor Lloyd Johnson of the Utica Baptist Church in
Utica will officiate. The Burgess Funeral Home in Utica is handling the arrangements.
She was born on November 10, 1932 in Doniphan Missouri to Phillip and Mary M. (Mannis) Votaw.
She married Monte Ricci on July 31, 1948 in Arkansas.
She was a member of the Utica Baptist Church.
She was employed by Ottawa Care Center for several years.
She is survived by: her husband of 71 years.
3 Sons: Daniel (Collen) Ricci of Texas, Louis (Jackie) Ricci of Kyle Texas, Monte (Theresa) Ricci III of Sandwich IL.
6 Daughters: Nancy (the late Jerry) Shan of LaSalle, Sheila (Reggie) Robinson of Little Rock Arkansas, Cindy (Clayton) Reddick Centerton Arkansas, Ellen Ricci of East Dundee IL, Lura Ellerbrock or Utica, Julie (Dave) Mateika of Oglesby.
Many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
1 Brother: Robert Votaw of Ottawa.
2 Sisters: Rayleen Montgomery of Streator, Florence Satterfield of Ottawa.
She is preceded in death by 1 infant son, and 1 brother.
