Lillian D. Crossman 87 of La Salle passed away Monday March 14 at 6:59PM in Heritage Health in Peru. Cremation rites have been accorded. Private family services and burial will be at a later date. The Burgess Funeral Home in La Salle is handling the arrangements.
She was born on March 11, 1929 in Harrisburg PA to John and Anna (Ozias) Staats.
She was employed by Electric Utilities in La Salle for over 10 years. She then was employed by Go-Dan’s in Peru for over 20 years until her retirement.
Her greatest joy was her family, along with her cats.
Survivors include:
4 daughters: Barbara (Danny) Humpage of La Salle, Linda Thompson of Peru, Mary Hancock of Oglesby, and Nancy Gilmore of Peru.
1 brother: Don Staats of Spring Valley
10 grandchildren: Shane, Tina, Mike, Eric, Robbie, Justin, Valisha, Tiffany, Tony and David
11 great grandchildren
Several nieces and nephews
