Leslie Puhl 62 of Utica passed away January 7 at 3:32 AM at St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be January 15 at 7:30 PM at the Burgess Funeral Home in Utica. Visitation will be from 6 PM until the time of services.
He was born in Joliet IL. On January 14, 1957 to George and Thelma (Larson) Puhl.
He married Starla Johnson in Joliet on January 23, 1978
For several years he was a laborer in the manufacturing field until his disability.
He enjoyed his family time. He loved fishing and working with model cars.
He is survived by: His wife
3 Daughters: Amie (Jim) Schrader of Utica, Jamie (Mark) Lewis of Morris, and Ramie (Robert) Thompson of Oglesby.
7 Grandchildren: Devin and Taylor Schrader, Alexis and Tyler Lewis, Leslee, Skylar, and Robert Thompson.
1 Brother: Wesley (Diana) Puhl of Joliet
2 Sisters: Joie (Roger) Cirrencione of Fla, and Carol Nelson of Fla.
Sister in Law: Shirley Norvell of Onarga IL.
Several nieces and nephews especially Kodie Johnson.
He is preceded in death by: his parents, 1 sister: Clarisse Puhl (1946)
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family for his favorite charities.
