Obituary for Kenneth "Ken" Stolz Sr.
Kenneth “Ken” Stolz Sr. 76 of Peru died unexpectedly in IVCH Emergency Room Oct 26 at 4:34PM. A memorial service will be Sat Nov 5 at 12 in the Burgess Funeral Home in La Salle. Fr. Paul Carlson pastor of St. Mary’s Church in Utica will officiate. Visitation will be 10 until time of the services. The Burgess Funeral Home in La Salle is handling the arrangements.
He was born Feb 2, 1940 to Peter and Martha (Baker) Stolz in Chicago IL.
He married Barbara Martinklaus on April 4, 1959 in St. Philomena Catholic Church in Chicago.
He worked for the City of Chicago as a CTA Bus Driver for 30 years. He was employed by Automatic Data Processing in Hoffman Estates for 10 years.
He is survived by: his wife
1 daughter: Jennifer (James) Davis of Serena IL
3 sons: Kevin (Karen) Stolz of Warrenville IL
Keith Stolz of Peru
Steven (Dianna) Stolz of Ottawa IL
6 grandchildren: Mike, Kathleen, Steven Jr., Zachary, AJ, and Samantha
Several nieces and nephews
He is preceded in death by: his parents, 1 son Kenneth Jr. (2014), 1 brother Robert (1942) and a daughter-in-law Sharon (2014)
