Obituary for Keith "Buddy" Ballard
Keith “Buddy” Ballard 35 of Ottawa, passed away peacefully with his parents at his side on January 14, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be on Saturday January 27th at noon, at the Burgess Funeral Homes in LaSalle. Pastor Sherry Stevenson, Pastor of Crossbridge Community Church in Ottawa will be officiating. A memorial visitation will be in the funeral home on Saturday from 10 until the time of services.
Buddy was born on July 20th, 1988 at the Ottawa Hospital, in Ottawa to Terry and Tina (Fort) Ballard.
Even though Buddy was with us for a short period of time, he enjoyed life to best of his ability. He cherish being with family and friends. He was an avid fan of collecting Marvel characters memorabilia and watching their movies. Listening to country music was very calming, and enjoyable to him. He was always eager to go on a shopping trip throughout the area.
He is survived by; his parents of Ottawa,
two brothers: Kyle (Jessa Mae) Ballard of Streator, Senior Airman /E4 Tyler Scott Ballard of Incirlik Air Base, Turkey.
one sister: Heather Dorton of Ottawa.
several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
His maternal grandmother: Diane Fort of Minonk
He preceded in death by: his paternal grandparents; Otis and Anna Ballard, his maternal grandfather; Allen Fort, Uncle John Corday, and Uncle Larry Ballard.
