Obituary for Kathryn Bennett
Kathryn Bennett 98 of Utica passed away Sunday June 17 at 4:00 PM in Manor Court in Peru. Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial mass will be Friday June 22 at 10:00 AM in St. Mary’s Church in Utica. Fr. Michael Driscoll will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Utica. A memorial visitation will be in the church on Friday from 9:00 AM until the time of services. The Burgess Funeral Home in Utica is handling the arrangements.
She was born on September 8, 1919 to George and Anna (Madden) Myers.
She married James Bennett in 1937 in St. Mary’s Church in Utica.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Utica.
She was employed by the following businesses; Illinois Bell as an operator, The Utica Bank as a teller and Starved Rock Lodge.
She is survived by;
2 Sons: Wayne (Ann) Bennett of Pennsylvania, James of Peru.
1 Daughter: Maripat (Jay) Wilson of New Jersey.
1 Sister: Jean Myers of San Francisco Ca.
5 Grandchildren Lee (Bennett) Drendle of Peru
Cory (Bennett) McCarrier of WI., Robert Bennett of AZ., William Bennett of NM., and Seam Wilson of NJ.
3 Great Grandchildren Carlee Skinner on Tonica, Nicholas Zimmerman of WI., and Harley (Bennett) Vargo
4 Great Great Grandchildren Henlee and Everlee Skinner and Anna And Madison Vargo
She is preceded in death by:
her husband, 5 brothers, and 3 sisters.
