Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 9th at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph’s in Peru with Msgr. Richard Soseman
Burial in St. Hyacinth Cemetery in LaSalle
A flag folding cemetery will be conducted by the Peru Veterans Group
Visitation will be held in Burgess Funeral Home in LaSalle on Friday, February 8th from 5:00 - 7:00 PM with a scripture service at 6:45PM and Saturday 9:00 until the time of services in the funeral home.
Born on June 3, 1934 in LaSalle to Joseph and Anna (Pyszka) Tutaj
Joe served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War
He worked for Illinois State Department of Transportation in the Highway Department, Bassick’s, and Mid American Growers doing maintenance for over 20 years
Married Patricia Ksiazkiewicz on August 14, 1971 in St. Joseph’s Church in LaSalle
Wife Patricia of Peru
1 Son Joseph (Sarah) Tutaj of Oglesby
1 Grandson Liam
1 Sister-In-Law Kathryn Tutaj in Ottawa
