Obituary for Joseph G Zeman Jr.
Joseph G. Zeman Jr. 74 of La Salle passed away Saturday September 26 at 2:00PM in Illinois Valley Community Hospital in Peru. Visitation and Services will be in the Burgess Funeral Home in La Salle on Saturday October 3. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 with services at 11. Reverend Gary Blake, Pastor of Holy Family Church in Oglesby will officiate. Burial will be at a later date.
He was born in St. Mary’s Hospital in La Salle on March 27, 1941 to Joseph Sr. and Mary (Martin) Zeman of La Salle.
He married Rosemary Kazmierczak in Peru on September 25, 1964.
He worked for Caterpillar in Pontiac IL for 17 years; He owned and operated J&J Home Improvement, being well respected throughout the remodeling community for 19 years, and worked at Westclox in Peru.
Survivors: His wife of 51 years
4 Sons; David (Patti) Zeman of Tennessee, Edward (Sheila) Zeman of Ottawa,
Robert (Florence) Zeman of Peru, James (Jeanne) Zeman of Peru
2 Daughters; Debra (Alan) Kline of La Salle, Angela (Chris) Wren of La Salle,
12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews
He is preceded in death by; his parents, 1 brother, 1 sister at infancy, and a granddaughter.
