John "Jay" Hannen, 78, of Utica, passed away at 1:13 PM, Monday, December 14th, in his home after an extended illness
Funeral Mass will be held in St. Mary's Church Utica, on Friday, December 18th, at 10:30 AM with Monsignor James Swaner officiating.
Cremation will take place after the Mass
Burial at a later date
Visitation will be on Thursday, December 17th from 5:00 - 7:00 PM in Burgess Funeral Home in Utica with a scripture service at 6:45 PM and Friday 9:30 - 10:30 AM in St. Mary's Church
Born on September 15, 1937 in Shreveport LA to Anthony and Stella ( ) Raffele
He served in the U.S. Navy for 11 years
Married Linda Roda on April 1, 1981 in Utica
Was a Sheet metal worker for Local 265 for many years
