Obituary for Jill Meyer
Jill (Meyer) Gaughan 45 of La Salle passed away October 8 at 5:42 AM in her residence. She had her body donated to the Anatomical Gift of Illinois. A memorial mass will be Monday October 16 at 10 in St. Patrick’s Church in La Salle. Father Paul Carlson pastor of La Salle Catholic Churches will officiate. A memorial visitation will be in church from 9 until the time of services. The Burgess Funeral Home in La Salle is handling the arrangements.
She was born in Peru on March 1, 1972 to John and Darlene (Kuwalski) Meyer
She married Richard Gaughan on September 20, 2007 in Ottawa.
She was employed in the health care field as a nurse. Through the years she worked at Liberty Village, Nightingales Home Health Services, and Simply Comfort.
She always preferred spending time with her husband and her daughters. She enjoyed traveling to Florida.
She is survived by: her husband
2 daughters: Serenity Gaughan of La Salle and Holly Wright of La Salle.
2 brothers: John Meyer of La Salle, and Kevin (Michelle) Farnan of Colorado
Several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a still born daughter, and her paternal and maternal grandparents.
