Obituary for Jerry Davis
Jerry Davis 73 passed away peacefully on January 20 at 9:00 PM at Aperion Care in Marseilles. A funeral service will be held on Monday January 25 at 11at the Burgess Funeral Home in LaSalle. The Reverend Tom Otto Pastor of LaSalle Catholic Parishes will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in LaSalle. Visitation will be from 10 until the time of services. Everyone is asked to wear a mask.
He was born on June 19, 1947 in Peoria to Virgil and Ellen (Jason) Davis.
He was employed by IM& Sons in Toluca as a mechanic.
He worked at the Illinois Valley Pads Shelter for 7 years. A Volunteer for the LaMoille Lions Club, and a past member of the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by:
1 daughter: Mary Luna,
1 Brother: Joe Davis of Lacon,
3 Sister: Ellen Robbins of Lacon, Diane Davis, and Christine Marchesi of Chillicothe.
2 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by: His parents, 1 Son Jerry (1991), and a special friend Adrienne Richards (2010).
