Jerome “Jesse” James 80 of La Salle passed away Tuesday March 31 at 10:54AM in St. Margaret’s Hospital in Spring Valley. Cremation rites have been accorded. To Honor his request there will be no services. The Burgess Funeral Home in La Salle is assisting the family.
He was born on Feb 9, 1935 to Joseph and Anna (Bawiec) James in Oglesby.
He served his country through the branch of the Army.
He married Susan Dankers on Aug 6, 1958 in Idaho.
He was employed by Libby Owens Glass Company Ottawa for 42 years.
He is survived by; his wife
2 daughters; Kimberly Happ of Peru, and Deborah (Jerry) Stachowiak of Woodhaven, IL
1 son; August (Rhonda) James of Gurnee, IL
6 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter
2 brothers; Gene (Connie) James of Indiana, and Joe (Patty) James of Indiana
He is preceded in death by his parents.
