Jeanette M. Kolowski 86 of Peru, formerly of La Salle passed away Friday April 8 at 5:13AM in Heritage Health Peru. Cremation rites have been accorded. A private family graveside service will be at a later date. The Burgess Funeral Home in La Salle is handling the arrangements.
She was born on November 20, 1929 in St. Mary’s Hospital in La Salle to Henry and Pearl (Renkosik) Lehmann.
She was a graduate of St. Hyacinth Elementary School in La Salle. She continued her education at St. Joseph’s Commercial High School in Peru.
She was a homemaker.
She enjoyed reading, working puzzles, and relished in making crafts to give to her family and friends. She did volunteer work at St. Hyacinth School for many years.
She is survived by;
4 Daughters: Linda (Earl) Olson of Mendota, Mary George of Troy Grove,
Janice (Dennis) Shaughnessy of Grand Ridge, and Karen Lawniczak of Peru
1 Son: Jeffrey Kolowski of Peru
7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren
Preceded by; her parents, 2 sons in-law Tom George (2013), Michael Lawniczak (2016)
