Obituary for Janice "Jan" Dzik
Janice “Jan Dzik 70 of LaSalle passed away March 6 at 2:55 AM in her residence. Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be in the Burgess Funeral Home in La Salle on Wednesday March 13 from 5 to 7 PM. A Scripture Service will be at 6:45 PM. Father Gregory Jarzombek of St. Bede Abbey will officiate. Burial will be March 14 at 9:30 AM in St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Hennepin.
Jan was born on December 6, 1948 in Champaign Illinois to Wayne and Caroline (Kidwell) Walters.
She married Paul Dzik on November 24, 1979 at the Ranch House in Bureau Illinois.
She worked for Consolidated Grain and Barge for 37 ½ years as an Accountant.
She is survived by:
Husband
1 daughter: Monica (Matt) (Jacobs) Niehaus of Peru
2 grandsons: John Paul and Hunter James Niehaus
She is preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother (John) in 2000
