Janet Sang 83 of Peru passed away 3:45 AM October 18 at Liberty Village in Princeton IL.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial mass will be November 9 at 10:30 AM in St. Patrick Church in LaSalle. The Very Reverend Paul Carlson Pastor of LaSalle Catholic Churches will officiate. Visitation will be in the church from 9:30 AM until the time of services.
She was born in St. Margaret’s Hospital in Spring Valley Illinois on February 25, 1936 to Frank and Emily (Wyciskalla) Prokup.
She married Dale Sang on February7, 1959 in St. peter and Paul Church in Spring Valley.
She was employed by Westclox in Peru, IL. She also worked for JC Penny’s in LaSalle which later moved to the Peru Mall in the Catalog Department.
She was a past member of St. Joseph’s Church in LaSalle. She enjoyed relaxing with a good book, or doing a puzzle or playing her computer games.
She is survived by: her husband
1 Son: Tom (Pam) Sang of Arlington Heights, IL.
2 Daughters: Bobbie (Mike) Bernardi of Tinley Park IL.,
Becky (Mike) Wendel of Oconmowoc, WI.
10 grandchildren
1 Sister: Barbra Riva (Gerald Schweickert)
many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, 2 brothers (Ron and Bill Prokup) and 1 nephew (Bill Prokup)
Memorials may be directed to Local Alzheimer's organizations or
St. Jude Children's Hospital.
