Irene Krasko 94 of La Salle passed away Sunday March 29 at 4:30AM in Manor Court in Peru. Visitation will be Wednesday April 1 from 11 to 12 in the Burgess Funeral Home in LaSalle. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Park in Spring Valley. A graveside service will be conducted, Rev Paul Meismer will officiate. The Burgess Funeral Home in La Salle is in charge of the arrangements. .
She was born on May 28, 1920 to Felix and Tillie (Sapeta) Turczyn in Peru.
She married Edward Krasko on October 8, 1938 in St. Valentine’s Church in Peru.
She was employed by Hobbs in Spring Valley as a bookkeeper, Westclox as an inspector, and a homemaker.
She is survived by:
1 son: Gerald E. (Renee) Krasko of Oelwein, Iowa
1 daughter: Elaine I. Krasko of La Salle
1 brother Chester (Bernice) Turczyn of La Salle
2 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren
He is preceded in death by; her parents, her husband (1990), 2brothers and 3 sisters.
