Irene Catalanello 86 of LaSalle passed away Saturday Feb 9 at 5:24PM in Illinois Valley Community Hospital in Peru. Visitation will be Saturday Feb 16 in St. Hyacinth Church in LaSalle from 9 until services. The funeral mass will be at 10. The Very Reverend Antonio Dittmer of LaSalle Catholic Parishes in LaSalle will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Vincent Cemetery in LaSalle. The Burgess Funeral Home in LaSalle is handling the arrangements. Irene was born on Aug 22, 1926 in LaSalle to Larry and Helen (Resch) Kasza. She married Joseph “Joe” Catalanello on April 24, 1954 in St. Joseph’s Church in LaSalle. She was a member of St. Hyacinth Church. She was a homemaker and worked at Westclox. . Survivors; 1 son---Brian (Margaret) Catalanello of LaSalle 2 daughters; Kay (Gary) Bellis of Chillicothe Missouri, Laure Full of Sedalia Missouri 1 Sister; Mary Barbara Bernardi of Ladd IL 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren Preceded in death by; her husband (1997), her parents, 1 sister (Leona) and 1 brother (Don) Family members will serve as pallbearers.
