Obituary for Henry Konieczny
Henry Konieczny 94 of LaSalle passed away Aug 10 at 11:59PM in the Illinois Veterans Home in La Salle. A funeral mass will be Monday Aug 15 at 10:30 in St. Hyacinth Church in La Salle. The very Reverend Antonio Dittmer Pastor of LaSalle Catholic Parishes will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Hyacinth Cemetery in La Salle. Visitation will be in the Church Monday from 9:30 until the time of services. The Burgess Funeral Home in LaSalle is in charge of the arrangements.
He was born May 24, 1922 in LaSalle to Stanley and Lottie (Fabrycki) Konieczny.
He served in the Navy during WWII.
He married Theresa Ratajczak in St. Hyacinth Church on June 7, 1952
He was a member of St. Hyacinth Church
He was a newspaper Pressman for 40 year.
He is survived by: Sister In-law Mary Konieczny of Ladd, Brother-In-Law Nicholas LaCosta of LaSalle
Nieces: Rose Konieczny, Tammy Bacidore
Nephews: Scott LaCosta
Great Nieces: Abby and Vika
Great Nephew: Gunner
He is preceded in death by: his wife (1992), 1 sister (Florence) and 2 brothers (Raymond) and (Leonard)
