Was born July 14, 1926 to Daniel G. & Lucy (Tarro) DeMattia
She worked and retired from EUC in LaSalle , Illinois after 37 years. She spent many years enjoying all her nieces, nephews and their children.
She is survived by 9 nieces and nephews. Daniel (Linda) DeMattia of Hennepin, Cynthia (Andrew) Volker, Ricky (Kristi) McClenthen of Michigan, Gary (Tami) McClenthen of Massachusetts, Michael (Jean) McClenthen of East Peoria, IL, Richard (Anitta) Keep, Robert (Doreen) Keep, Debra (Collin) Kennedy of Colorado and Eileen (Jim) McVey of Maryland. Also many great nieces and nephews who adored her.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph DeMattia, four sisters, Louise Schoening, Kathryn DeMattia, Mary Jane Keep, and Elsie McClenthen. One niece Kathy (Keep) Gress.
She lived with her sister Kathryn in the home of their parents until her sister’s death and continued living there until her death.
