Obituary for Florence Wojciechowski
Florence Wojciechowski 93 of Aurora and formally of LaSalle passed away peacefully with her family at her side in Aurora. A funeral mass will be Saturday February 25 at 11 at St. Hyacinth Church in LaSalle. Very Reverend Paul Carlson Pastor of Holy Family Church in Oglesby will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Hyacinth Cemetery. Visitation will be in the Church Saturday from 10 until the time of services. The Burgess Funeral Home in LaSalle is handling the arrangements.
She was born in La Salle on November 9, 1929 to Frank and Mary (Hybki) Kotecki.
She was a graduate of LaSalle Peru Township High School.
She was employed by Illinois Bell Telephone Company for 14 years as a telephone operator. She later was a bookkeeper for Walgreens for 16 years until her retirement in 1994. She was a volunteer for the Book Shop and Starved Rock Visitors Center.
She married the love of her life Vincent Wojciechowski on April 23, 1960 at St. Hyacinth Church in LaSalle.
She cherished spending time with her family, friends and especially the grandchildren.
She is survived by:
Two Sons: Roy (Miranda) Wojciechowski of Round Rock TX
Dan (Kristen) Wojciechowski of Aurora, IL.
1 Brother: Harry (Myra) Kotecki of Schaumburg, IL.
Five Grandchildren and 3 ½ Great-Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by:
Her husband, (December 3, 1990)
Daughter: Amy Williams,
One Brother: Frank Kotecki, and One Sister: Therese Dugosh
