Obituary for Eva Bartashius
Eva Bartashius 95 of LaSalle passed away Saturday June 22 at 1:15AM in Heritage Manor in Peru. Visitation and Services will be Wednesday June 26 in St. Hyacinth Church in LaSalle. Visitation will be 9:30 until the time of services. A Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 with the Very Reverend Antonio Dittmar Pastor of LaSalle Catholic Parishes officiating. Burial will follow in St. Hyacinth Cemetery in LaSalle. The Burgess Funeral Home of LaSalle is handling the arrangements. Eva was born on August 25, 1917 to Joseph and Mary (Pelka) Kotowski in LaSalle. She married Julius Bartashius on November 15, 1937 in St. Hyacinth Church in LaSalle. She worked at Westclox for over 40 years. She was member of St. Hyacinth Church. She is survived by: 1 daughter: Joanne (Gerald “Jerry”) Ganze of LaSalle 3 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren 2 great-great grandchildren She is preceded in death by: Her husband (2002), 4 brothers and 4 sisters
