Obituary for Esther Kowalski
Esther Kowalski 94 of Ladd formerly of LaSalle went home to be with the Lord on Friday Feb. 9th 2018 at 7:50 am in the Illinois Veterans Home of LaSalle. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday Feb. 12 at 10:00 am in St Hyacinth’s Church with Rev. Gregory Jarzombek O.S.B officiating. Burial will be in St. Hyacinths Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 9:00 - 10:00 am in the church . Burgess Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. She was born on July 15, 1923 in Milwaukee WI to Frank and Julia Lisiecki. She served in the Army during WW II. She worked at Hynes Veterans Hospital in Maywood and was employed locally in the LaSalle area. She married Frank Kowalski in November of 1948. She was a member of St. Hyacinth Church and the Altar and Rosary Soc. Loving Mother of Jeffrey (Lydia), Brian, Julie, and Bruce Kowalski. Loving Grandmother of Jeffrey, Kevin, and David Kowalski. She is also survived by 2 Sisters, 1 Brother and Nieces and Nephews. Preceded in death by her Husband Frank, and Grandson Michael and also 1 Brother and 3 Sisters.
